The Hartwood Days Festival is committed to community, family, and fun. To show our commitment to the community,
50% of the funds raised at this year’s event will be donated to the Rappahannock Big Brothers Big Sisters organization.
The Rappahannock Big Brothers Big Sisters matches children, ages 6-13, with positive, caring volunteers who
act as role models. “Bigs” provide the missing link with friendship,
guidance and encouragement and often fill the gap created by the loss of a parent. It is a second chance for a child to receive
additional one-on-one attention, to be recognized for their talents and courage and to be supported in growing into healthy,
strong adults.
